Just got home from getting my hairs cut, and while Elle was getting her 'do, I hit EB Games and picked up Super Paper Mario. I'll say this much: the pre-game bullshit normal to Japanese productions is taken to a whole new level here. It makes FF7 look like a model of brevity. But that said, this is what I'm talking about. It's odd, because it is essentially Super Mario Bros. with a really brain-twisting paradigm shift, inasmuch as you can flip it in to 3D end-on mid-game.
Very strange, and it's making me a little queasy, but it is hard to find good platformers for the Wii (a fact I find odd, given that Nintendo essentially corner the market in that genre) and I'm pleased to have one finally.
